We're seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Field Mechanic to join our team As a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech IV - Field Service - CES), you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing complex equipment on customer-owned assets. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you'll work independently to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring our customers' equipment is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Travel to customer job sites to repair and maintain equipment, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including electronic documentation of work orders
  • Upsell and demonstrate complex equipment to customers, showcasing our extensive product offerings
  • Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment and mechanical systems
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
