Job Summary

SKYLINE DIESEL TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment

Utilize your technical expertise to identify and diagnose faults and malfunctions in our heavy-duty equipment, ensuring prompt and effective repairs.

Perform Repairs and Maintenance

Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on diesel engines, fuel systems, and other critical components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Specialize in Diesel Engine Repair

Develop and maintain expertise in diesel engine repair, including fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and engine control systems.

Work in a Fast-Paced Environment

Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.

Physical Demands

Be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Personal Qualities

Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
