We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at APS Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine issues, ensuring our customers' vehicles are back on the road quickly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and Repair Diesel Engines: Use computerized testing equipment to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Order and Maintain Inventory: Source and manage parts and supplies to ensure efficient repair operations.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Test and Verify Repairs: Conduct thorough testing to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy duty diesel mechanics.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
