Job Summary

As a key member of our Heavy Duty Mechanic team at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of our resort's equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with snowcats, snowmobiles, and other heavy industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resort staff and guests, ensuring a positive and safe experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic's ticket.
  • Proven experience working with heavy industrial equipment, including snowcats and snowmobiles.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
