About the Role:

  • Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated trucks and associated heavy-duty equipment.
  • Utilize various power tools, hand instruments, and cutting-edge equipment to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
  • Complete daily reports, work orders, and order necessary parts to ensure efficient repair processes.
  • Plan and schedule repairs in M5 planner and procure parts to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in reviewing mechanical write-ups and coordinating repair schedules to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical diploma desired.
  • 1+ year experience as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job duties.
  • Exert physical effort, including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting items up to 100 lbs.
  • Use fine motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
  • Ability to kneel, crawl, and climb.
