About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at SKYLINE DIESEL TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Utilize your expertise to identify and diagnose faults and malfunctions in heavy-duty equipment, including diesel engines, powered equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, including adjustments, replacements, and testing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Specialized Repair Services: Provide specialized repair services for diesel engine repair, powered equipment repair, and mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all repairs and maintenance meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
