Heavy Duty Mechanic Job Summary

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including snow cats and snowmobiles
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including hydraulic systems and undercarriage assemblies
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and manage daily work assignments
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report on shop activities
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and environmental policies
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic's ticket
  • Experience working with heavy industrial equipment, including excavators and loaders
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a mountain environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to work in a team environment
