Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Pride Bodies Controller as part of a small, efficient team in Cambridge, Ontario. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, issuing payments, daily banking and credit card payments, answering phone calls, greeting and assisting visitors.

As a Finance Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Your duties will include processing weekly cheque runs, monitoring vendor accounts, processing daily bank deposits and credit card payments, and maintaining the Accounts Receivable Subledger.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Match/coding and authorize payment of invoices.
  • Process weekly cheque runs and monitor vendor accounts.
  • Process daily bank deposits and credit card payments.
  • Maintain the Accounts Receivable Subledger and contact customers for payment requests.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, greet and assist all visitors.
  • General maintenance of office and other finance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Reliable and a team player.
  • Own transportation for delivery of deposits to bank.

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and experience. This is an estimate and actual salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and performance.
