Job Opportunity:Reporting to the Director of Finance

The Accountant will be responsible for various tasks within the Finance Team and will become a key role to the Operations group.


Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

We offer competitive salaries based on experience and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate execution of weekly production balancing
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting with time management focus
  • Monthly Forecasts with comparison to budget
  • Responsible for assisting plant management in preparing overhead budget
  • Accountable for specific plant accounting, including posting of plant related journal entries
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required
  • Deal effectively with ad hoc issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Enrollment in the CPA program is considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use transactional databases and finance software
  • Oracle and/or Hyperion experience is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
