Executive Administrative Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Administrative Lead to join our team at the University of Saskatchewan. This is a full-time, exempt position responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to diverse leaders, units, and departments across the university.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the employee life cycle of direct reports, ensuring effective onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
- Lead a team of executive assistants and administrative assistants, fostering a culture of collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
- Enable the USask shared services model by developing and implementing administrative strategies, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources effectively.
- Act as a champion for the administrative network, promoting best practices, and facilitating knowledge sharing among teams.
- Consult with campus leaders and partners to determine administrative support requirements, leveraging expertise to drive strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring opportunities for growth and development.
- Collaborate with administrative leaders to establish a community of practice, driving innovation, and excellence in administrative services.
- Develop and implement administrative strategies, aligning with the university's goals, and objectives.
- Provide oversight to the operations of the administrative support staff, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners, promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect.
- A minimum of five years progressive experience in management and leadership capacities within a service-oriented workplace.
- Possesses advanced subject matter knowledge of multi-functional administrative areas, with a focus on organizational change management, leadership development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong relationship building skills, with experience establishing and achieving service goals, and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, create buy-in, and drive results through strategic planning, and collaborative leadership.
- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment, with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and pension plans, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
