Job Description:

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director, First Nations & Metis Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and efficient administrative support functions, including coordinating workflow with other administrative support staff and supporting the efficient operation of the Executive Director's portfolio.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, First Nations & Metis Health, including preparing and editing documents, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Coordinate workflow with other administrative support staff to ensure seamless operation of the Executive Director's portfolio.
  • Support the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the Executive Director's office.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and their support staff to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Language and Communication:
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, patients, and families.

Work Environment:

  • Travel Requirements:
  • Travel within Saskatchewan is required.
