As a Clinical Psychologist II, you will be a key member of our interdisciplinary team at Alberta Health Services, providing forensic mental health services to individuals referred to our program. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and treating patients with complex mental health needs, including those related to family violence and intimate partner violence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide court reports for mandated clients referred to our program.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including group therapy and data collection.
  • Collaborate with referral sources, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide clinical leadership and coordination in our ambulatory outpatient program.
  • Stay up-to-date with evidence-based practices and ensure that our services align with psychology standards and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program.
  • Active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Adult Addiction and Mental Health.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an ambulatory and/or community clinic setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in individual and family therapy.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
