Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical services, consultation, and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure evidence-based practices and alignment with psychology standards of practice.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote best practices and standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to junior staff members.
  • Participate in program development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement, and evaluation activities.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Minimum 1-year recent experience providing direct clinical supervision.
  • Minimum 3 years prior clinical experience in a community mental health setting.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, interviewing techniques, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a forensic mental health setting.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision in a community mental health setting.
  • Experience working with sexual and intimate partner violence offenders.
