Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Government of Northwest Territories invites applications for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Stanton Hospital.
As an experienced sonographer, you will utilize state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment to produce and interpret high-quality images required by radiologists for accurate patient diagnoses. Your role will involve performing sonographic examinations on various internal structures, providing hands-on support during invasive procedures, and ensuring seamless patient care throughout the process.
This position requires strong knowledge acquisition through successful completion of a Certified Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
We welcome applications for term positions ranging from three months to indeterminate. Indicate your preferred term length in your application.
To be eligible, candidates must provide a satisfactory criminal record check and obtain proof of current up-to-date immunization status. Current registration with Sonography Canada is mandatory for this position.
Compensation PackageThe salary range for this position is between $49.12 per hour and $58.68 per hour, plus an hourly Northern Allowance of $1.90, making it one of the most competitive in the industry.
