Job Summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnerships Analyst to join the Seniors Strategic Policy Branch, Seniors Division. As a key member of the Community Partnerships Unit, you will provide leadership, advice, and support for collaborative initiatives through provincial, community, and allied stakeholder partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work strategically with stakeholders and ministry colleagues to advance outcomes related to community initiatives focused on older adults, ministry business plan, and minister's priorities.
  • Design, plan, manage, and evaluate projects, including grant and contract management.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform program development and initiatives related to older adults.
  • Support the alignment of research, policy, program, and community initiatives across government that support the independence and well-being of Alberta seniors.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills to convene, facilitate, and/or participate in stakeholder or cross-ministry working groups.
  • Ability to analyze and conceptualize information from various sources into clearly written documents and resources.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Awareness of key issues, trends, and services related to older adults in Alberta.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while embracing change and iteration.
  • Proactive and take initiative.

This position operates within the framework provided by the branch and ministry operational and business plans and priorities, the Government of Alberta's established policy and legislative development processes, established consultation and research processes, and direction from branch leadership.
