Drive Growth through Strategic Partnerships
Jobber is seeking an experienced Director, Product Partnerships to join our Partnerships department. This key role will lead our growing Product Partnerships team, responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with industry-leading tech companies and developers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing product partnerships strategies, driving revenue growth, and building high-performing teams.
About the Role
- Develop and execute the product partnerships strategic plan, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
- Lead the Product Partnerships team, responsible for hiring, coaching, and mentoring talented professionals to deliver exceptional value to Jobber and our partners.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, close, and launch new technology partnership opportunities that align with Jobber's product and business strategy.
- Maintain a pipeline of partnership opportunities that drive reach, product value, and commercial opportunities for Jobber and our partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build, and launch quality technology partnerships, maximizing adoption through enablement materials, co-marketing, and co-sell motions.
- Develop compelling business value propositions that encourage partners to adopt and invest in advocating, building, and marketing integrations with Jobber.
- Structure partner models and contracts to achieve mutually beneficial business results and drive execution of related partnership agreements.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of partner value drivers, product capabilities, economics, and business models, aligning with Jobber's strategy, product, and goals.
- Ensure partner compliance with agreements and manage escalations, leading complex contract negotiations to maximize value for Jobber.
- Utilize reporting and analytics, partner portfolio health, and data modeling to create business cases and action plans identifying partner opportunities.
- Identify potential product gaps that partners could help fill, conducting buy, build, or partner analysis.
- Build expertise in the Jobber product offering, including strengths, weaknesses, and available APIs.
- Work alongside the Sr. Manager, Partner Success to strategically align on customer and product goals, and success measurements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strategic thinker and leader with extensive experience in partnerships business development or account management, with emphasis on product partnerships with technology companies.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Successful track record of developing, structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale, complex business agreements and transactions with enterprise companies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and large group meetings with external partners and Jobber internal teams.
- Thinks and acts with a 'win-win' attitude.
Work Environment
