Job Title: Department Secretary

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Secretary to join our dynamic Access CAMH team. As a Department Secretary, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our interdisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and external agencies
  • Manage electronic files and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing referrals
  • Liaise with information specialists, clinicians, and physicians to facilitate client and program needs
  • Support the needs of an interdisciplinary team, including information specialists, clinicians, and physicians
Requirements:
  • One-year Community College diploma in business administration or secretarial science
  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong administrative skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and electronic health records
