Job Title: Director, Solutions Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Solutions Delivery to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of business solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and oversight to delivery teams, ensuring that business solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Business Strategy: Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Customer Focus: Lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout the delivery teams, ensuring that business solutions are designed and delivered with the customer in mind.
- Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and innovative solutions across the industry, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
- Platform Roadmaps: Collaborate with business SMEs and technology teams to create platform roadmaps that align with business strategies and drive business growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that business solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate business solutions and their benefits to stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and employees.
- Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that business solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage delivery teams, ensuring that they have the skills, resources, and support needed to deliver business solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes that drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a delivery or business solutions role, with a track record of delivering business solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the financial services sector and the Wealth and Asset Management industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with experience in leading and managing delivery teams, and a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate business solutions and their benefits to stakeholders.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business problems.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning, with a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and innovative solutions across the industry.
