Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Happy Day Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and register arriving guests, provide information on hotel facilities and services, and assist with special requests.
  • Room Management: Assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and reservations.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and organized.

Working Conditions: 35 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.

Language: English.
