Job Summary

13126927 CANADA INC is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of food preparation, service, and maintenance of a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems to manage food preparation, service, and inventory control.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting the company's quality and presentation expectations.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is stored, handled, and served safely and hygienically.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels, minimizing waste and excess stock.
    • Monitor and control inventory costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience in our food service department.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
