Job Summary

Shree Nilkanth Food Services Inc. O/A Dairy Queen is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
    • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers, promoting a client-focused approach.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring efficient inventory management.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to support business growth and development.
  • Team Development
    • Hire and train food service staff to meet business needs, promoting a team player culture.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Client-focused approach with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work setting: Restaurant.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
