Food Service Supervisor Job Description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2164541 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
**Responsibilities**
* Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
* Conduct quality control checks to ensure food and service meet our high standards
* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning
* Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
**Work Environment**
* Fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
* Permanent full-time position with a 35-hour workweek
* English language required
**Requirements**
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
