Position Overview

The Food Service Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that high standards of service and quality are maintained.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define the types of services to be provided and establish operational protocols.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff.
  • Analyze costs associated with products and services.
  • Manage inventory organization and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and necessary supplies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and assess daily operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Safety and Security

Must possess basic security clearance.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced work setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
