Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Wales McLelland Construction. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures, and report any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as health and safety procedures.
