Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Natural Resources Canada.

Overview: The Service Desk at Natural Resources Canada provides technical support to over 5000 internal end-user clients. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for recording, prioritizing, and resolving common informatics problems over the phone, by remote access, and in-person onsite.

Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical support to clients, using remote support tools to connect, analyze, and resolve IT issues, supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Active Directory and TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environment, and supporting Windows 10 desktop operating system.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have recent experience in providing technical support to clients on IT services in an IT Service Desk environment for both on-site and remote/off-site locations. You should also have experience in using remote support tools, supporting Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Active Directory and TCP/IP networking, and supporting Windows 10 desktop operating system.
