Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist - Data Security to join our Global Support Success team. This role will play a critical part in resolving complex customer issues, diagnosing problems, and recommending remediation techniques. The successful candidate will work closely with global support teams, team leads, and core engineering teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer issues with Thales Crypto products, interpret logs and error messages, and understand the customer environment.
  • Recommend solutions and workarounds to known problems, provide guidance on how to apply them, and support implementation of hotfixes and patches.
  • Work with customers to reproduce previously unknown issues and interface with the Client Services Product Champion to resolve these issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field of study.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a customer support role, providing technical application support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics in network and data security products.
  • Extensive knowledge of cryptographic concepts, public key exchange, digital signatures, data communication, and PKI.
  • Experience using Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Servers, as well as networking protocols like TCP/IP and UDP.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
