Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT support specialist to work onsite in our Ottawa, Canada office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative experience with PowerEdge Server (Rack and Tower) and PowerScale systems, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

This role involves handling support calls, coordinating warranty replacements, managing component replacements with CSE-cleared resources, and managing escalations. They will also support PowerEdge, PowerScale, and the DPS portfolio, with some involvement in PowerStore support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to our AI/HPC client environment.
  • Field support calls and act as the main point of contact between the client and technical support teams.
  • Manage dispatching of warranty replacement parts.
  • Coordinate CSE-cleared resources for component replacements.
  • Manage and escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Perform general administrative tasks for PowerEdge (Rack and Tower), PowerScale, and DPS systems.
  • Provide some support for PowerStore.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with PowerEdge Server (Rack and Tower) administration.
  • Experience with PowerScale administration.
  • Strong general IT support skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and manage technical support tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Secret or Top-Secret clearance (not mandatory).
  • Experience with PowerStore systems.
