Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Leadership Executive to join our team at Sysco Food Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our local sales teams and drive business growth in the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Local Sales team, executing customer service KPI objectives, and growing sales while contributing strategically to regional operational efficiency. They will also foster and lead a high-performance team of sales management in support of corporate and regional business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Local Sales team with a focus on performance, priorities, development, and attaining sales goals/targets.
  • Deliver annual sales and piece growth as per set targets.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with key customers through regular communication, identifying customer needs, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Support the negotiation process for new and renewed customer agreements and ensure key stakeholders are informed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure contract compliance for all independent, contract, and tendered business.
  • Prepare monthly period-end reports and annual budget for the Local Sales division.
  • Work with merchandising to identify new product offerings that can contribute to increased margin, increased sales, and our mission of helping customers succeed.
  • Direct and oversee the marketing function.
  • Develop strategies and plans to drive market share growth.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.
  • Experience managing a large multi-site business.
  • Advanced knowledge of core business processes, including customer planning and management, sales and distribution, and financial reporting.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related or relevant field.
  • Proven track record in executing business objectives, actively driving performance, solving problems, and delivering projects on-time.
  • Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience leveraging CRM tools.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing with access to a vehicle.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
