Maintenance Coordinator

Woodfibre Management Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functionally the maintenance requirements across the site, facilities, roads, and grounds, waterside, and base operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support the preparation and planning of Major Maintenance and Turnarounds, delivering and driving best practices and a safe work environment.
- Contribute to meeting compliance on the Maintenance budget, schedule compliance, long-range planning of regulatory work, and preventive maintenance optimization.
- Ensure that all jobs are conducted in compliance with company and government regulations and procedures.
- Represent the Mechanical Supervisor or Maintenance Manager during planned or unplanned events and leave.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of plant maintenance craft, supervision, coordination, or planning experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- LNG experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of maintenance turnaround experience in Oil and Gas.
- Process safety management mindset.
- Solid understanding of maintenance work processes.
- Strong maintenance planning skills.
- Strong leadership skills – coaching approach.
- Technical proficiency to coordinate solutions for a broad range of issues (E&I, mechanical, civil).
- Risk management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP in the following areas: process orders/notifications, materials management, task planning and scheduling of jobs, corrective and preventative work orders.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable with managing change.
- Able to lead in a high-stress environment.
- Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams and contractors in a multicultural environment is an asset.
- Accepts responsibility and demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of tasks and targets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be innovative and vision-oriented with demonstrated ability to undertake strategic planning and implementation.
- Ability to work and lead well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and change priorities within tight time frames.
- Demonstrates and seeks accountability within the team.
- Expertise with a variety of computer programs.
- Energetic in pursuit of continuous improvement.
- A valid driver's license and passport.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
