We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Director to join our team at Compass Group Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple units and ensuring that they meet the company's standards and regulations.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in multi-unit responsibility and supervisory experience within a unionized environment. You will work closely with clients, colleagues, and associates to develop strong business relationships and ensure effective communication.

As a Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for conducting operation audits, ensuring adherence to company purchasing programs, observing facility conditions for quality control purposes, and investigating complaints regarding unit operation. You will also be expected to develop realistic and accurate district/region forecasts and monitor development of realistic and accurate unit forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct operation audits of regional units to ensure conformance with the Company, government and accrediting agency standards, regulations and record keeping and design improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity
  • Ensure adherence to company purchasing programs
  • Observe condition of facility when visiting sites for quality control purposes and investigate complaints regarding unit operation, affecting satisfactory solutions
  • Develop realistic and accurate district/region forecasts and monitor development of realistic and accurate unit forecasts, then ensure that each unit's financial performance meets the Company and client forecasts

In addition, you will establish and maintain effective client and customer relations, identify client's needs, communicate unit progress, operations problems, and new Company programs to client. You will interpret financial reports for clients and document business content of client meetings.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' related experience and/or training in multi-unit responsibility; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Supervisory experience, preferably within a unionized environment
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships and an open line of communication with clients, colleagues and associates
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as prepare and present effective PowerPoint presentations

The salary for this position is approximately $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
