Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships and providing high-quality service to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience working in the fund administration or asset management industry, with a proven track record of delivering excellent client service and driving revenue growth.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and operations staff at our clients
  • Managing client queries and escalating issues as necessary
  • Overseeing incidents and errors end-to-end in a timely manner
  • Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Management and oversight of client-specific SLAs and KPI adherence by operations teams
  • Hosting monthly service calls with clients to review SLA and KPI data
  • Participating in client due diligence visits and reviews
  • Determining RAG ratings for clients and escalating to senior management where necessary
  • Overseeing and reviewing client profitability and ownership of client account strategy to drive future growth
  • Managing client profitability through workforce planning with operations teams and adherence to common operating model
  • Exploring cross-sale opportunities and actively participating in RFPs or other business development opportunities as required
  • Ownership of commercial conversations with clients, including initial point of contact for new product launches and services
  • Participating in global projects to improve client-related initiatives or projects with operational teams

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Third-level qualification (degree or higher) in a relevant field
  • At least 10 years' experience working in the fund administration or asset management industry with experience managing client relationships
  • Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team of accounting professionals
  • Excellent business acumen and understanding of the fund administration business and drivers of profitability and success
  • Exceptional client service and ability to satisfy complex and demanding client requirements while maintaining organizational interests and health
  • Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products
  • In-depth understanding of the fund administration industry, including various fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and fund offering documentation review
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and demonstrate innovative thinking
  • Experience with fund administration software such as Geneva, Investran, Yardi, and Mantra would be beneficial but not necessary
