Your RoleThe Strategic Account Growth Manager serves as the primary point of contact between high-profile clients and our agency. This role entails nurturing and growing client relationships through strategic leadership, collaboration, and ongoing support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and projects independently, providing proactive solutions to issues.
- Identify and align client business needs with product deliverables, ensuring seamless integration.
- Recognize opportunities for account growth and propose new solutions and services tailored to client needs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of client brand standards and assets.
- Make strategic recommendations to clients, ensuring proper resource planning to meet deadlines.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through frequent, professional communication.
- Oversee project timelines, collaborating with Account Coordinators and Project Managers as needed.
- Manage project budgets, aiming to find efficiencies and keep projects within scope.
- Uphold daily expectations for general project management (ensuring daily stand-ups, Jira follow-up, testing when required, etc.).
- Keep senior management informed of project progress, addressing potential issues affecting client services and projects promptly.
- Collaborate with relevant departments, engaging subject matter experts on projects and new initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to Accounts team members, assisting with onboarding as needed.
- Own quality control for all client-facing deliverables.
- Identify process improvements within the organization and develop/implement enhancements across projects.
- Promote positive employee morale by encouraging and energizing the wider VERB team.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- A post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, business, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently present to clients and internal management.
- Experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects involving cross-functional teams with budget, schedule, and resourcing constraints.
- A general understanding of:
- Website design and development.
- UX testing and reporting.
- Analytics Measurement Plans and Audits (GA and SEO).

- An estimated salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
