We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Bulldog Pub and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory and Supplies: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
As a Restaurant Cook at Bulldog Pub and Grill, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
