We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Bulldog Pub and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet customer expectations.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality food production.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Equivalent experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability in a team environment.
