Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive new home sales for our Montrose community. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing a sales strategy, and providing excellent customer service to current and future customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for your community;
- Prospecting Plan**: Utilize Salesforce to develop and implement a prospecting plan through all communication mediums (phone, email, web, etc.);
- Market Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive competitive shops and analysis of competitor's plans, specifications, pricing, and overall product offerings to inform sales strategies;
- Innovative Marketing**: Provide input on innovative marketing ideas that drive sales and build strong brand awareness while reinforcing the value of our homes;
- Purchase Agreements**: Oversee the effective management of all Purchase Agreements and related documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies;
- Sales Strategy**: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and/or Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy for the community;
- Team Coaching**: Coach Sales Associates and/or Hosts via instruction, role-playing, and interactive discussion to enhance their skills and performance;
- Construction Updates**: Meet with the Construction Team bi-weekly to receive updates on construction status and provide regular updates to purchasers through to possession.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in new home sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets;
- A minimum of 2 years' leadership experience, with a focus on sales coaching and training (desirable);
- Availability to work evenings and weekends; and
- A valid Driver's License.
Working in a Sales Centre
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to opening time to ensure the sales centre is ready for a punctual start;
- Maintain a clean and tidy sales centre office and ensure the showhome is always sparkling and looking its best;
- Ensure the sales centre is adequately staffed at all times during operating hours.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and performance.
