We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and coach our growing team of Veterinarians and clinical staff. This is a critical role that will enable the performance of our team and contribute to the success of our clinical practices within the BC Region.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the deployment of our people and resources, including budgets, facilities, and inventory.
- Develop strategic business planning to shape our future and drive growth.
- Lead change initiatives and develop and implement clinic performance improvement plans.
- Lead the training and professional development of our veterinary teams and staff.
- Develop, maintain, and promote adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
- Track, monitor, and evaluate overall key hospital performance metrics.
- Manage scheduling of doctors and staff.
- Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stocking and pricing.
- You will lead with empathy and true heart leadership.
- University degree in a relevant field (management, medicine, science, etc.).
- Previous experience in a managerial role with a team of at least 10 to 20 people.
- Previous experience in veterinary medicine or a healthcare field (dental, human medicine) is an asset.
- Previous experience managing multiple locations within the service industry.
- Willingness to regularly commute to different locations.
- Veterinarians seeking to transition from medicine to management are strongly encouraged to apply.
