At Options Consulting Solutions, we're seeking a talented Financial Planner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Financial Planner with a passion for delivering exceptional client service. As a Financial Planner, you'll be responsible for managing client relationships, providing personalized financial solutions, and growing share of wallet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals.
  • Provide expert financial planning advice, including asset allocation and modular financial planning projections.
  • Prepare and present financial plans to clients, ensuring they're tailored to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the Lending Services team to provide lending referrals and grow share of assets.
  • Represent the firm at workshops, trade shows, seminars, and events, showcasing our expertise and building relationships with potential clients.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree).
  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Holding or working towards a minimum of the PFP designation and ideally have or is working towards obtaining CFP designation.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of successful experience as a Financial Planner, supported by demonstrated results.
  • Experience in preparing, developing, and presenting financial plans to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships with clients.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, French language skills are an asset.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office suite).
  • Ability to work independently and possesses self-management skills to complete workload in a timely and accurate fashion while managing competing priorities.
