About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing them with expert financial advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing clients, and develop strategies to retain and grow our client base.
  • Financial Planning and Advice - Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, helping them to create and implement personalized financial plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Product and Service Development - Stay up-to-date on new financial products and services, and work with clients to identify and implement solutions that meet their evolving needs.
  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, business, or economics, and relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFP, CFA).
  • Experience - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a financial services role, with a proven track record of success in client acquisition, retention, and relationship management.
  • Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert financial advice and guidance.
