Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a wide range of marketing deliverables to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including event marketing, sponsorships, and brand management.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality marketing materials, including copywriting, design, and visual content, to capture the attention of our target audience and drive sales.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute events, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site coordination, to ensure successful event execution.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing managers, directors, and external vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as marketing, advertising, or design.
  • Experience: 3+ years of combined experience in marketing, copywriting, and design development, with a minimum of 2 years in event management.
  • Skills: Strong project management and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement event project plans, and a technical appreciation for the development process of creative design across all media.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, its regulations, and other complexities, as well as a strong understanding of sales and distribution processes.
