About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at I-WAY TRANSPORT INC. as a key member of our HR department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Planning and Control

Develop and implement effective budget planning and control strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize costs.

Policies and Procedures

Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a positive work environment.

Occupation Classification and Rating

Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate and fair compensation and benefits.

Recruitment Strategies

Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Contract Management

Manage contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and minimize risks.

Training and Development

Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Employee Data Analysis

Analyze employee data to inform HR decisions and drive business outcomes.

Communication Strategies

Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage employees and promote a positive work culture.

Reporting and Analytics

Prepare and analyze reports to inform HR decisions and drive business outcomes.

Senior Management Advisory

Provide strategic advice to senior management on HR-related matters.

Employee Support

Respond to employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Collective Bargaining

Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.

Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures

Organize and manage staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure fair and timely resolution of issues.

Payroll Administration

Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Project Management

Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Organizational Skills

Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a similar role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

35 hours per week.
