Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2747234 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Train and supervise food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
