Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure exceptional customer service and quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports to management, including sales data and inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, 5-10 people.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
