The GenieAll Corporation is seeking a highly skilled High-Level Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This permanent position offers 30 hours of work per week and comes with a competitive salary.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting on the performance of computer systems and networks
- Responding to user inquiries and resolving difficulties with computer systems
- Consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Participating in the redesign of applications and software
- Providing business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- Performing Web-server backup and recovery operations
- Managing incidents
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Judgement and decision-making skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience working in a consulting firm environment an asset
