Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our Oracle Support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our customers, resolving complex technical issues, and working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless support delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers via phone, email, and electronic means
  • Resolve complex technical issues, often involving previously unknown or critical customer issues
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure seamless support delivery
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle products, applications, and tools
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical and business needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and industry trends, and apply that knowledge to provide expert-level support
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in technical support, with a focus on complex problem-solving and customer-facing support
  • Strong technical skills, with a focus on Oracle products, applications, and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality support to customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, RAC, and Grid
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard, Flash Copy, and other Oracle technologies
  • Experience with Oracle OEM and other Oracle tools
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including interconnects, SCAN addresses, and ASM
