Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at The Flats Yorkton. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing delicious meals, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our residents.

Kitchen Management

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.

Team Leadership

Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Manage kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating within budget and maintaining high standards of quality.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Work Setting

Restaurant or Bar environment

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and under pressure

Personal Suitability

Organized, reliable, and a team player
