Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Professional to join our team at The Flats Yorkton. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and guests.

Culinary Skills

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality.

Team Leadership

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient inventory management.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting

Restaurant or Bar environment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Personal Suitability

Organized, reliable, and a team player.
