Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Conduct regular inventory checks and estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage Budget and Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and expenses, and manage the budget to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or restaurant environment
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic work atmosphere
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
