We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Pre-owned Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and leasing pre-owned vehicles to existing and new customers, while meeting sales quota and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Handle incoming sales traffic, including phone calls, internet inquiries, and in-person visits.
  • Qualify prospects and arrange trade-in appraisals through the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
  • Liaise between prospects and sales management during negotiations.
  • Turn over all sales customers to the finance office and arrange new and pre-owned deliveries through sales management and the finance office.
  • Actively prospect new customers and follow up with past deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with product changes and attend weekly sales meetings to review performance and set objectives.
  • Familiarize yourself with all manufacturers' sales, lease, and finance programs.
  • Make annual lease maturity contact calls with existing clients and keep apprised of competitive products.
  • Review historical performance with management to set annual sales objectives.
  • Participate in off-site marketing and advertising initiatives as required by sales management.
  • Assist in arranging showroom displays and participate in off-site product and skills training programs.
  • Closing sales by overcoming objections, negotiating prices, and completing sales or purchase contracts.
  • Stay informed about applicable federal, provincial, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • During delivery, escort customers to the customer lounge, Parts Counter, and introduce them to the Service Department, including Management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Valid OMVIC registration.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
