We are seeking an experienced Route Sales Representative to drive sales growth and expand our customer base in the gas, convenience, and grocery channels. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, this role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Delivery Truck (G Class) and handheld invoicing system to load products from the warehouse into the Delivery Truck and deliver products to customers
  • Carry out CVOR safety inspections of the delivery vehicle, and correctly load it with product and point of sale materials
  • Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Collaborate with supplier partners' representatives to provide them with product knowledge, consumer trends, and overall business needs
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Manage inventory by keeping accurate records that are reconciled daily
  • Record delivery information, obtain customers' signatures, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum one to three years' sales experience, and secondary school education is preferred
  • Valid Class G Driver's License is mandatory, with a minimum three years' driving experience and a safe and clean driving record
  • Valid Class D - DZ License is an asset
  • Patient and reliable navigation through traffic and various road conditions
  • Superior interpersonal and written communication, time management, and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
  • Ability to understand customer needs and concerns and win their business
  • Independently take action to achieve high-performance goals
  • Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and problem identification and resolution skills
  • Ability to use handheld devices effectively
