Mergers and Acquisitions Business Development Professional

Software International is seeking a driven and professional individual to join our growing team as a Mergers and Acquisitions Business Development Professional. This client-facing role requires exceptional communication skills, relationship building expertise, and a talent for accurately capturing and qualifying leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify sales targets by proactively initiating and maintaining relationships with software business owners through various channels.
- Respond to inbound leads by understanding and articulating clients' acquisition criteria and unique value proposition to target software businesses.
- Assist in the M&A pipeline process by developing tailored messaging that engages critical decision-makers, coordinating appointments, and generating qualified leads.
- Mentor and train junior business development analysts.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate business or finance degree.
- Mergers and Acquisitions experience is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in a business development/lead generation role, ideally in a B2B software environment.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and exceed prospecting target quotas, with strong metrics-driven skills.
- Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to C-suite executives and business owners.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset.
- Multilingual skills are an asset, particularly in global expansion efforts.
- Professional attitude with a persistent and solid work ethic.
